ABOUT US
At Tara Regan Interiors, we are a client-focused team that creates innovative interiors that will complement the personalities of the space and the owner. We love to have challenges and create transformations!
Our hardworking, experienced team work together to devise the perfect plan for each client. Our end desire is that each project will be flawlessly functional and aesthetically pleasing to our client. We work with private residences, retail spaces, new construction to full remodels, large commercial facilities, yacht and marine. We take specialize in complete project coordination.

OWNER. CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Tara Regan
Her time at The University of Kansas earned her a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design. After working for a prominent design firm, and gaining experience in merchandising model homes and decorating high-end clients, she began her own design firm in 1996 in St. Augustine, Florida. Tara is inspired by challenges and always looks to elevate the ordinary into the extraordinary. She loves to work with many different styles from traditional to modern, minimalist to maximalist and can create quiet and peaceful places or bold and colorful spots. She has assisted residential clients in St. Augustine and all across the U.S.A. and worked on design needs from one room to whole houses. Her expertise in commercial design has transformed medical facilities, offices, and countless businesses in the greater Jacksonville area.

Lisa Velez
Designer
Lisa Velez is the Design Coordinator for Tara Regan Interiors. She also is a freelance graphic designer. She has a BA in Graphic Design, with a focus in Fine Arts, from Flagler College, St. Augustine. Art is her passion that comes in many different forms. Art in computer design and illustration, hospitality, crafts and the art of making things beautiful. When not working, she can be found at home making a creative mess or poolside with her husband and two daughters.Kerri Ellis Hartley

Malinda Truog
Social Media Marketing Director
Malinda is our social media and marketing guru. She has a degree in Communications Studies and Art Minor (Interior Design emphasis) from Washburn University.
She also has a strong Interior Design background and worked diligently being a Software/Business Analyst for over 7 years at DST Systems in Kansas City, Mo. She moved to the Florida Gulf Coast area in 2005 while raising her children. She was a Volunteer and Vice Chairperson for the Hernando County Fine Arts Council where she worked diligently to bring the arts perspective into that area. She also worked at Smart Interiors in Tampa Bay area as a Design Consultant. She is an asset to our team with her art, design, and communications experience.
CHARITY WORK
Tara is passionate about Civic and Non – Profit involvement. She believes in giving of herself she can really make a difference. She loves kids and often gets involved with charities that directly helps them. Some of the previous and current involvement she has are with:
- Miracle on the Bayfront Gala committee – St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
- Past President, Treasurer and Board Member, The Junior Service League of St. Augustine
- Past Society Queen for annual gala, The Junior Service League of St. Augustine
- Founding member, past Board Member and past President of Kids Bridge Supervised Family Visitation Center
- Past Board of Trustees member, The St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum
- Past member of The Augustine/St. Johns County Advisory Council for Community Hospice and Palliative Care
